Torchiato di Fregona
It gets its name from a special production process: the bunches, selected from vineyards of Prosecco, Verdiso, Boschera and other non-aromatic grapes, are left to dry until spring.
The grapes are then gently pressed in manual winepresses, with a yield never exceeding 25%.
The must is aged in small wooden barrels until the New Year, when the vintners bottle it.
Torchiato is sweet, with pleasantly balanced alcohol content, has golden glints and an intense bouquet. The taste is full and warm.
