The Collalto Fief

Possible to do on foot, this route crosses the territory of the old fief of the lords of Collalto, whose heart lies in the castle of Susegana, one of the most imposing fortified structures in the region, and in the nearby castle of Collalto.

Of similar interest are the farm divisions, zoning and infrastructures conserved on the Collalto estate, which retains its traditional layout.

Quite characteristic are the old sharecroppers' houses, painted red with two horizontal red bands.
